Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to design, lead, and enhance system integration projects focused on biometrics capturing and automated immigration clearance systems. The ideal candidate will manage a team of J2EE developers and deliver turnkey enterprise applications for high-profile, mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and maintenance of system integration projects in biometrics and automated immigration clearance.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions for enterprise-scale J2EE applications.
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of J2EE developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Oversee implementation, testing, and commissioning of J2EE applications.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues through end-to-end troubleshooting from client to server.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic project teams on high-profile and technically challenging projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Diploma holders with at least 4 full J2EE SDLC experiences in a Technical Lead capacity are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Lead.
  • Proven track record in leading medium to large-scale J2EE projects using platforms such as IBM WebSphere and Oracle.
  • Hands-on experience with Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, SOAP/REST, JMS, Java Design Patterns, HTML5, jQuery, JSP, XML, JavaScript, IBM MQ-Series, Crystal Reports, and/or biometrics technologies is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of leading customer interactions for technical issue resolution.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in biometrics capturing, identity management, immigration systems, or secure clearance solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and system integration.
  • Experience working with high-availability, mission-critical, or government-related systems is an added advantage.
  • Ability to manage technical delivery, communicate with stakeholders, and support project implementation from design to deployment.
